We are a community of auditioned, volunteer singers with a passion for musical excellence. Members of the Choral Society come from a diverse array of backgrounds. From recent graduates of major collegiate choruses to those who are returning to singing after a hiatus, from professional choral singers to experienced instrumentalists who are new to choral singing, and from music educators to arts management professionals, we share a common goal of making great music in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Critics claim that in a number of recent hearings no other chorus in town “has been even close to the level of professionalism of this strictly volunteer group.”

We are looking for experienced choral singers with strong sight-reading skills to join our musical community. Our once-weekly (Tuesday, 6:50-9:20 PM) rehearsal schedule is designed to accommodate busy careers and family lives. We are committed to a healthy and supportive rehearsal environment.

Auditions for the first half of our 2023-2024 season have now closed. To inquire about an audition in January for the second semester, please send an email captioned “Audition” with your name, voice part, contact details and choral singing experience to choralsociety@mac.com.

Our 2023-2024 season features two concert cycles: Our annual Christmas concerts (December 1-2, 2023), featuring Haydn’s “Lord Nelson” Mass, and a pair of Spring concerts (May 10-11, 2024). Check our event listing over the summer as final repertoire is filled in.

To access our Members Area, please go to www.chorusconnection.com and log in using your email and the password you created when joining the system.
